Croatian Level 1

Croatian is an Indo-European language primarily spoken in Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina by over 5 million people. As one of the official languages of the European Union and the official language of Croatia, this is certainly a useful language to gain a working understanding of. Croatian uses the Latin alphabet and is one of the most spoken Slavic languages in Europe. Although there are several Croatian dialects, Standard Croatian is most used. If you already know some Croatian, Level 2 Croatian is a great course for you. Level 2 focuses on some of the most important verbs in Croatian as well as some common topics of conversation. The goal of Level 2 is to reinforce your current knowledge while sustainably adding additional information to your repertoire. You will dive a little deeper into the rules and intricacies of the Croatian language and what sets it apart from Croatian itself.

Upon completion of Level 2, you will be equipped with a wide variety of new speaking, writing, and listening skills in Croatian. Each level is aimed to give you additional confidence to use your newfound language skills in the real world, and the modules will give you the tools you need to do just that. You will be able to absorb information sustainably and quickly with the expertly designed and paced modules.

In Level 3, you will learn about specific words that are important in Croatian, with modules such as Informal, Polite Apologies, and Requests. You will also focus on several useful topics like hotels, restaurants, and business travel.

Level 3 is ideal for ensuring that you truly understand the ins and outs of the Croatian language. This will help with Croatian writing skills and make it easier and easier for you to converse in Croatian, even with native speakers! This is the final level in your Croatian course, and it aims to give you the necessary tools to use your Croatian in day-to-day life and truly understand when you read or hear it elsewhere.
